Wormy

This story would be a whole lot cuter if I had been able to take pictures, but here it goes anyway... When we got home from work tonight, Corey, Ryan, and I did some gardening. Ryan was right there with the spade while Corey and I dug up plants (something we should have done in the fall) and turned over the soil. While digging, Ry re-discovered worms. He dug up 3 or 4 and found one that became his special friend, Wormy. He carried it everywhere, including to the boulder at the bottom of the hill. Mommy had to explain that if we left Wormy on the boulder in the sun, he would get sick. Instead, Wormy came with us on a walk. When it was time to go in for a much needed bath (the mud is ridiculous in Maine right now), Ryan made Wormy a home with Daddy and a shovel under our bush. I love that he dug right in to the garden. Our son is soooo not afraid of dirt! The worms didn't phase him either, even when he saw Mommy freak over a disgusting grub. So, like I said, this blog would be better with a few current pics. Instead, I will include his worm discovery from last summer.
