Its tomorrow!

This weekend was filled with fillers. Corey and I were just keeping busy because the prospect of home ownership is daunting. We did manage to squeeze in some excitement. Saturday started off horribly after I washed my cell phone and then had to pay over $100 to replace it. However, Saturday night's auction for Children's Odyssey was a great success. We made more than $8,000. Go us!
Sunday morning we took Ryan to feed the ducks before filling the rest of the morning with errands. He very much enjoyed the trip even though the playground was too wet to play on. Unfortunately, we have created something of a problem for ourselves. In our efforts to potty train Ry (which has been largely successful), we would often find a quiet spot on the road and have him pee instead of finding a bathroom. That has backfired since he now finds great humor in peeing whenever and wherever the urge strikes. Enjoy the photo evidence that follows.
We did stop for lunch at Texas Roadhouse after our errands. I highly recommend it. Ryan loved the peanuts and it was great, naughty fun to chuck the shells on the floor. The food was also delicious, better than the Outback. If only we hadn't left our leftovers sitting on the table! Ryan and I had to leave work early (again!) to get our certified check for closing this afternoon. Ryan was very well behaved considering he refused to nap at school. Then he treated us with one more of his expert, "pee wherever I have to go" episodes.

Today

I repeat my sentiment that frustration should be the new word for mortgage. Today was the worst day in a while. However, things seem to be getting back on track. We will see how the next 6 days go. On a much brighter note, Trish is in labor!!!! I'm praying for her!
Update! Trish had a baby girl (7lbs 6oz). Mommy is doing great and Baby is on her way to becoming a healthy, happy baby. Just send an extra prayer their way.
Update, Update! Garrett and Trish named their daughter Natalia Grace and she is doing much better. Mom is feeling great and will be released tomorrow. Natalia will mostly likely just have to stay one extra day. I can't wait to see pictures!

8 Days to go!

Corey, Ryan and I went to Fort Williams on Sunday to see Beth (my college roommate) and her daughter, Natalie (who just turned 8 months old.) Ryan wore himself out and he was close to the dirtiest he has ever been. He ended up with a fever today, Corey thinks he tired himself sick!

Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day we went up to Steve's camp in Poland. Ryan got to go for a kayak ride with Daddy for the first time. He had fun playing with all the kids, running in the woods, fishing, wading, and causing trouble. Here are a few pics of our day!
Zoe is gorgeous laughing at Dad!
Maddy is absolutely adorable!

FRUSTRATION is the new word for mortgage!

That is what a mortgage should be called! They are messing everything up! Who ever heard of a mortgage needing to go through a bond agency! No one! I don't want to close on July 23rd, I want to close on July 1st, and so do the homeowners! This sucks and I probably won't have a clear answer until Monday!
SUCKY!!!!

The results are almost in...

The inspections went well today. Better than Corey or I hoped. We are going to ask for a few things, but they probably won't be deal breakers. We'll keep you posted!

Sharing the past month...

GiGi and Ryan James riding the lift up and down the stairs. Over and over with huge smiles for both of them!
Mackenzie Faith has the most beautiful, bright blue eyes. Look at how mischievous they turn when her cousin is around.
Kaelyn Elizabeth loves to read on Gram's lap. However, the look in her graduation photo says it all. She has TUDE to spare!

In Memory

My grandfather, Louis S. Santo, passed away this morning. Please keep us in your prayers. He was truly a wonderful man and grandfather. I will always remember how easily he could make me smile, even when he was frustrating me like no one else could! I love you!
